Susie+Tony | San Juan Capistrano Ranch Wedding

Susie and Tony have been together for 5 years and they took the next step in completing their family.  The location and wedding were absolutely beautiful and I am so excited for these two.  Weddings can be a lot of work, but I really enjoy being a part of their day, seeing how the day comes together, how the party plays out and how wonderful the bride and groom look.  I just love seeing the style of the bride.  How they dreamed their day to be.  6251062510-162510-2

Aimee+Rob | Orange County Wedding Photographer

Aimee and Rob were married at the Embassy Sweets in Brea.  Sometimes we can have 3+ locations for getting ready (guys/girls), ceremony, reception, but there wedding was one stop.  They got ready, had the ceremony/reception and formals all in one location.  I second shot this wedding for Yvonne and she had done an engagement session for them.  She got to know them a lot better than me, but I wish these high school sweethearts the best of luck beginning their new journey together.

Alyssa+Jacob 10.19.08 | Orange County Wedding Photographer

Alyssa and Jacob…”it’s about time”, hey their words, not mine!  They finally tied the knot aboard the Royal Princess yacht in Newport Harbor along with their 2 children Bailey and Brody.  Alyssa said that her wedding day was all that she had hoped for and couldn’t have gone better.  I am so happy for these two, for anyone who thinks why bother we’ve been together x amount of years, she said she already feels different being Mrs. Mylles.

Michelle+Jim 10.4.08 | Orange County Wedding Photographer

Michelle & Jim were married at St. Martin De Porres Church in Yorba Linda.  It turned out to be a bit of a gloomy day, but nothing could get them down.  Jim said “I’ve heard it’s good luck with a smile”.  It was a such beautiful day.  I’m sure you’ve seen these two on my blog a couple of times.  Yvonne and I were excited to be a part of their day as more than a guest at the wedding.  We knew we would have a great time because Michelle’s a sarcastic little creature just like us!

Jim with his big smile (he doesn’t have a serious face), that’s fine with me!

Biggest wedding party to date!  Most locations too.  After getting ready we went to a local park for the guys/girls.  Then to the church, family photos were done there, then off to the reception site:  Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona.

I had the guys, but I was able to come along with Yvonne while she did the girls.  I loved all the fall colors in the wedding.

I loved this church, so much light where you need it!  Which was good cause no flash was allowed.10408-9.jpg10408.jpg

Michelle+Robert 9.27.08 | Orange County Wedding Photographer

Robert & Michelle are good friends of ours, so it was an honor to photograph their wedding at the Japanese Gardens in Long Beach.  When I arrived at Michelle’s room, there were no nerves or frantic running around.  Michelle had been meticulously planning this day and all was on track.  There was just confidence…confidence in knowing that her hard work was about to pay off, confidence in knowing she was about to marry the love of her life.

Robert & Michelle…I am so happy for you guys.  Thank you for putting your full confidence in me to document such a special day in your lives.  Love you guys!

They are the first couple that have done a “first look”.  I was so excited!  There are so many reasons to do this.  More time for pictures (probably in better light), but most importantly I think it is more romantic than seeing each other at the ceremony for the first time.  You get to hug, kiss and have a special moment all to yourselves.  I had chills the whole time!
