Aubrey is 9 months now!! We headed to the beach since she is sitting up and her next session will be her 1st birthday!! We were hot at home but by the time we got to the beach it was pretty chilly. Aubrey was amazing….I so love this age…seems to take a lot to get them down! She had fun playing with the sand and was happy as can be. I love watching little ones grow up!
Guess what this little guys name is?…….Jace! I’ve never met another Jace before. They were sent my way by my friend Jaci. I’ve had a few new baby things waiting around so I jumped at the chance to go see a snugly little newborn and try them out!

Friday – J and I loaded up the kids and headed to Balboa Island for the day. We took the auto ferry to get there. Jace thought it was the coolest thing and was saying “boat,car,boat,car” the whole next day. We rented a huge bike, cruised around, rode some rides, played at the playground, took pics under the pier, ate cotton candy and even got to see dolphins out the car window on the way back. I had a blast, but the best part was asking Jace later about his day and hearing him say “dolphin,boat,car,water,bike”. He had the best time, makes it totally worth all the chaos!!
We got so many stares in this thing, it was perfect for us….just big enough!

We had fun playing with my new camera. Even after cruising on a bike for the past hour and a half, I still wanted some pics with my little man

Carter just turned one a few days before my lil monster turned 2. I last photographed him when he was just a couple of months old. He is walking like a pro even in flip flops his momma got him that were a just a little bit too big. He’s such a cutie and loves his Curious George monkey. We headed down to Laguna Beach to get some pics of the big boy and some of the family together.
Had to show Carter’s view of mom & dad singing “I just can’t get enough” by Barney I guess. When they were singing it I was so thinking of the 80′s Depeche Mode. They tried to get me to sing it too…luckily he looked with out me having to sing!

I didn’t know it was Candy’s birthday til we got back to their house. Luckily I took this pic of her alone… Every mom needs a pic by themselves looking beautiful Happy Birthday Candy!
There is not a whole lot of variety at the beach so I like to add my own with different processing.
Candy really wanted to get a pic of Carter with his feet in the water…well we got it alright. At least we had a good excuse to put him in his hoodie and take a few more pics!
It was touch and go with the weather Saturday. It was cold, very cold, but no rain! Sometimes a mini session is just enough (especially when you have little ones) but I also get such a short amount of time to get to know everyone. These boys were so great….they did such an awesome job. I want to give a special thanks and a $10 credit to Faith for referring them to me.
