Happy New Year!!!  I know my blog has been a bit slow lately, but now that I’ve enjoyed the holidays it’s time to start playing catch up and shoot, shoot, shooting!!

I’m starting with Emma and Alex’s wedding at the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church.  It was really great being a part of their day.  My favorite part of the day was the moments we had with them before the reception, you can see how much joy they share together…

Katie+Kenny | Inland Empire Wedding Photographer

Katie and Kenny were married Saturday at Sycamore Highland Park and had their reception at the March Air Force Base.  This was a fun one for me since Kenny is one of my oldest friends cousin and there were no shortage of familiar faces.  This was actually a renewal for them since they were previously married, but now they had time to have a ceremony/reception.

Staying Busy

I’m getting ready for the next 3 weekends of weddings.  Two of which I’ll be second shooting for Yvonne.  Here are a couple of pictures she got of me “doing my thang” at Angie+Keith’s wedding a few weeks ago that I found while finishing/backing up my photos.  I sometimes wonder what I look like ;)

9209Anyhow, we have lots of fun at weddings together, so I’m looking forward to the next 3 weeks.  I’ll do a post at the end of the wedding season to show you some more “behind the scenes” :)

Alyssa and Jacob…”it’s about time”, hey their words, not mine!  They finally tied the knot aboard the Royal Princess yacht in Newport Harbor along with their 2 children Bailey and Brody.  Alyssa said that her wedding day was all that she had hoped for and couldn’t have gone better.  I am so happy for these two, for anyone who thinks why bother we’ve been together x amount of years, she said she already feels different being Mrs. Mylles.

We headed out in cold, windy weather and were greeted by the most beautiful day at Los Willows in Fallbrook.  I had the best time at their wedding, such a fun group and everyone really let loose and had a good time.

Yvonne and I were chatting on our way to our 3rd wedding in 3 weeks and we still have one more next weekend!  We were talking about how lucky we are to do what we love for such awesome people.  I so appreciate referrals.  We would have never crosses paths with these two without Michelle (Rodgers :) ) & her mom sending them our way.

At the end of the night James thanked us and let us know that he is usually not very good in front of the camera.  I would have never known, could of been cause we were joking around the whole time!

I second shot a wedding for Yvonne Sunday at the Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton.  It was such a beautiful wedding with such awesome people.  Kimberly’s mom told us the wedding would be joining the Brittish and the Irish, some family flew in from England to be there.  I was holding back tears from the ceremony to the reception, must of been one of those days.  It was the touching speaches from the pastor, family and wedding party.  I couldn’t wait to get home to my hubby and little one and give them a big hug and kiss.

Here are some of my favorites from the day….

Kimberly had these bobble heads made and I thought they were the cutest things!  Here is my mini session with them…you’ll see them on the cake later.9708-01.jpg9708-6.jpg9708-5.jpg

I think he’s snarling at me here, but I like it anyways! :) 9708-12.jpg9708-13.jpg

I love this photo of their grand entrance, it’s so them!  They kept us laughing the whole time!9708-14.jpg9708-16.jpg9708-15.jpg

They said “I do” Saturday at 7pm “On Top of the World”.  You could see the excitement from these two from the getting ready stage all the way through the end of the night.  So happy to be getting married.  This day was all about family & love…there is always stress & chaos when it comes to weddings, but their love for each other and the family all working so hard to make this day happen made it the perfect day for them.

This is the first wedding I have done with Bobby being there (since it was family), it was good practice, since we’ll have 2 more by the end of the year!
