Mexia family | Inland Empire Photographer • Claremont

Cutie little girls with their mom and dad.  Sometimes clients ask what they should wear for a session and I think this family did it perfect.  Coordinating colors, but not matchy-matchy.  As we were walking up a little path to get where we were going she asked “what’s that smell mom”….nature mom said ;)   It was fun watching her keep her eye out to see what animals/critters we were going to come across.  Thanks so much for having me to photograph your family and a special thanks to Angela for sending them my way!

all the kids | Inland Empire Family Photographer

Mother’s Day is coming up soon and the kids wanted to get together with their families and do a session for their mom.  So very thoughtful.  They really pulled together got it scheduled quick with a date they could all be together.  This is really special to me… you hardly ever get photos of everyone all together.  Such a beautiful family as well and one of the easiest sessions I’ve had which is crazy cause there were 19 of them and newborns in the mix :)  I hope mom/grandma loves her present!  Here are my favs…

Miles | Inland Empire Newborn Photographer

I gasped at how beautiful Miles was when I walked in the door.  On my trip to meet him and his family and I remembered that mom told me he was 3 weeks premature and 10 days old.  I didn’t realize til I was almost there how little he might be.  Well it turns out he was over 8 pounds at birth, even being premature.  Introducing Mr. Miles… such a cutie ;)

one…two | Inland Empire Child Photographer

So sweet little Alannah, my first real baby session, is now 2.  She was perfectly content, wandering around and checking out the birds, flowers, etc…but she would not smile for me :(  Silly girl, I love seeing the stages that little ones go through…such a process and so many changes.

I’m getting pretty crafty I do have to say so myself….I had fun making the headband and tutu ;)

So I’ve been going through some old photos to put on my new Facebook page and I thought I would post a favorite from each session of Alannah from newborn to now…

just wait and see | Inland Empire Family Photographer

I love that Barbara was picking between two locations I would love to shoot at.  That she wanted something outdoorsy and was willing to travel for it.  Instead of going to a park or the beach…she wanted something different.  She hasn’t had any photos of the three of them and I was so glad she booked a session!

baby Holden | Inland Empire Newborn Photographer • Corona

Oh sweet baby Holden.  He is such a big boy at 3 1/2 weeks and all.that.hair!  Such a cutie, he reminds me of my “little one” at that age.  Mom and dad said he is normally sleeping during the day….but not today. He was awake the whole time and checking everything out.

All Aboard | Inland Empire Family Photographer

I had been wanting to shoot here for a while, especially after taking Jace to see Thomas the Train.  I was so excited when it was just what they were looking for!!  I had the best time with this family.  It was cold when we started and the kids weren’t feeling it too much…but then they turned into models out of nowhere saying “if you ever need to practice…call us up”.  I had too many favorites and I tried to cut it down a bit for the post….
