Trying to catch up on importing photos, organizing and getting used to the set up on my new iMac. I came across some photos of Jace playing tent from June. I really wanted to capture some photos of him being in the natural lighting that was in the room. I bumped my Canon 5D Mark II to 6400 iso (I can’t even imagine what I would get on my 40D which only goes to 1600) and shot away. Here is my favorite image from that night. The first photo is the original with no adjustments but slight color correction. The second I turned black and white. There is some noise, but it doesn’t bother me at all…just happy to be able to capture him at day or night with no flash!

crystal vogel - That’s my next purchase…how do you like the Mark II?? Right now I still use my Canon Rebel (Don’t laugh), but hey it works. Can’t wait to upgrade!!
Angel - I LOVE it! Let me say you do a great job with that Rebel. I get frustrated and have to upgrade. I love the ISO capabilities for low light situations and I would love to take the time to learn how to use the video some day
