  • Hello & welcome to my site! I am a wedding / portrait / event photographer. I enjoy photographing everything from babies to pets to weddings. I decided I don't have to choose and I can shoot everything that puts a smile on my face ;)

    Life can be crazy, but I am right where I want to be. I have a house full of 4 kids, an english bulldog, 2 bunnies and the love of my life who reminds me why it's all worth it. Although I love an afternoon nap I am always super busy creating something new or figuring out something for myself instead of having someone else do it for me.

Jim+Michelle

Jim & Michelle are getting married this October!  Yvonne and I both went along for their engagement session at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim and of course we are going to photograph their wedding.  Yvonne, Michelle and I all used to work together not too long ago, such a bummer not to see them every day:)

Sweet Baby Megan

Megan is 2 months old and she is the newest addition to a household of 4 and that’s just counting the kids!  Miguel & Christine have been together for 14 years, have 5 kids and they are not done yet.  They have 4 girls and 1 boy so they want to try for another boy next year.  Christine amazes me especially since she is a couple of years younger than me!  She is one of those people who just knew they always wanted to be a mommy, “I just didn’t know I would have this many” she said.

We had a day of shooting on Monday.  She really wanted to capture the mommy/baby bond as a Father’s Day surprise.  So first I headed over to their house with 3 little ones at home and then she came by with 4 in tow for us to do some with the backdrop while they played with Bobby and Jace.  It worked out so perfect since they are so close by.

Christine…You really inspire me!  You guys have such a happy full life with such wonderful kids.  Your life truly suits you.  I am so glad I was able to give you the images you were looking for.  I hope you guys have a wonderful Father’s Day!  Can’t wait to come back and photograph all of you:)

Flashback Friday

I hate to not have those adorable babies at the top of my site afer posting this, but I did say I would post more personal stuff… So, did you see the Mtv Movie Awards?  Bobby and I pretty much watch everything from Tivo, so we watched it in the middle of the week.  When Johnny Depp walked out I about jumped off the couch!  I had the biggest crush in him back in the day and although I love the Pirates movies and still think he is great  – I just don’t feel that way anymore.  I thought it was maybe since I’m all grown up, but I guess not.  When he walked out looking all 21 Jump Street I got butterflies!  It wasn’t just me cause when they panned through the audience women were gasping for air!  Bobby was so laughing at me and I told him I was going to blog about it.

It took me back to the days of Bop magazine when I used to tear out the pages and plaster them on my bedroom wall (along with NKOTB, but we won’t go there) and my huge cardboard cutout of Edward Scissorhands.  Since I am sure Bobby wouldn’t appreciate me putting a poster on our wall…a blog “post” will have to do!  Have a great weekend!

Baby Arath

Carlos & Mariel have an addition of a baby boy to their family.  Arath Samuel Avalos is 2 weeks old.  It was such a pleasure meeting this family and spending some time with them.  I can’t wait to see him when he gets a bit older, look at all that hair!  Thank you so much to Alannah’s family for sending them my way!

Baby Carter

When I arrived at David and Candy’s house Carter was fast asleep, the smell of pizza was in the air and David was on the computer looking at listings for their meeting with their real estate agent later on that day.  They have a beautiful home, but they are ready some something closer to work.  Carter is now two months old my arrival doesn’t bother him in the least bit.  He woke for a quick diaper change and then once we put him in some comfy furry stuff he was off to sleep again.  He was such a good baby.

I last saw them at our friends New Years party while Candy was pregnant.  We talked for a while all about baby stuff and she said she was clueless about babies, not so different of how I felt when I was pregnant with Jace.  It was so great to see her as a new mommy doing such a great job with her precious baby boy.  It was all laughs and love (especially when Carter soaked mom!)
