a little more | Lexi+Phil’s wedding

Lexi+Phil were married almost 3 weeks ago.  I finish their images today (totally a record) and thought I would share a little more…

When a bride and groom book and engagement session with me I get to make personalized cards with information on how to access their  proofs when they are ready to put out at the wedding.  Here were Lexi+Phil’s

I took two photographers along on this wedding to help with the booth and second shooting.  Ended up with photos of me too…funny to see yourself at work ;)

Not sure what’s up with the pic on the left…I know we were testing the booth, I think I was having Jenn get something while she was at the car…talk about multi-tasking.  I know the photo on the right was us waiting for the first photo booth victim and we knew Jenn was snapping pics :)

Hey….someone had to test it out :)

img_8925-1-copyWe have so much fun at weddings…despite the hard work cause it is so worth it!!!  Two more images from their wedding that I love…

Brooke Nichole | San Bernardino newborn photographer • Chino

I was so lucky to be able to photograph this little one the week before mom and dad were moving to Santa Barbara to start their new life together…of course I said I would travel for family photos ;)

She is such a sweet, strong little girl born at 8 lbs 6 ounces.  As usual, she was sleepy when I got there, but then she wanted to check everything out! :)

Introducing Brooke Nichole at 6 days old…

the first Fun Booth | Lexi+Phil’s wedding

The first Fun Booth is here!!  It was so much fun and is great for weddings or parties.  I’m usually smiling on the other side of the camera while shooting, but this took it to a whole new level!  Everyone picked up the concept quick, grab some props and rocked it!!  Can’t wait til the next one!! :) 72410fb-15724booth72410fbfun-booth172410fb-172410fb-272410fb-372410fb-472410fb-572410fb-672410fb-772410fb-872410fb-972410fb-1072410fb-1172410fb-1272410fb-13

Lexi - Angel, You did such a wonderful job capturing all the special moments of my wedding day. The photo booth was a blast and was a great hit will all our guests. They are still raving about it! Thanks again for everything. -Lexi

Yvonne Campbell - The Fun booth was defenitly FUN!

Khloe Laurent | San Bernardino Newborn Photography • Victorville

Khloe Laurent arrived 3 weeks early, so we had just done the maternity session and it was time for her newborn session.  You should see this little girl’s closet…oh my gosh she has more shoe’s than I could count and a ton of clothes (the result of 5 baby showers :).  She is a lucky little girl, so loved by mom and dad.  When dad was holding her I kept hearing “I love you”.  It is so great for a daughter to have a loving supportive father.  I recently took a class that discussed the effects of having a father that raises a confident, loved daughter.  It put a smile on my face to know that Khloe is already starting out with what a little girl needs ;)

Lexi+Phil | Fallbrook Wedding Photographer

Lexi & Phil were married at Christ King Church in Fallbrook.  The day was full of fun and surprises….from the Woody bus that escorted them around to the margarita and beer & wine bars at the reception to the toast being done with tequila shots (or apple juice if you prefer) to the photo booth done by yours truly. No tosses or even cake cutting (they had cupcakes you could cruise up and grab), once they got to the reception it was time to have fun!  Such a great day full of love and laughter.  I love it when I do an engagement session ahead of time to get to know the couple better, I get so excited for them on the big day.  You guys are an amazing couple! xoxoxo

Precious Memories | What a difference a camera makes

Trying to catch up on importing photos, organizing and getting used to the set up on my new iMac.  I came across some photos of Jace playing tent from June.  I really wanted to capture some photos of him being in the natural lighting that was in the room.  I bumped my Canon 5D Mark II to 6400 iso (I can’t even imagine what I would get on my 40D which only goes to 1600) and shot away.  Here is my favorite image from that night.  The first photo is the original with no adjustments but slight color correction.  The second I turned black and white.  There is some noise, but it doesn’t bother me at all…just happy to be able to capture him at day or night with no flash!

Angel - I LOVE it! Let me say you do a great job with that Rebel. I get frustrated and have to upgrade. I love the ISO capabilities for low light situations and I would love to take the time to learn how to use the video some day ;)

crystal vogel - That's my next purchase...how do you like the Mark II?? Right now I still use my Canon Rebel (Don't laugh), but hey it works. Can't wait to upgrade!!

Lydia+Ismael | Orange County Maternity Photographer • Huntington Beach Pier

These two are expecting a baby girl in just a few short weeks after 10 years of marriage…so exciting!  So, I don’t often travel to the beach for photo sessions.  As beautiful as the beach can be…it’s bright, not much shade (depending on the location) and also depending on the location….lots of people!!  After their session I was so glad they chose this location.  First off because it was what they wanted and second when it works, it’s so pretty.

Congratulations to you two and thanks for making me ♥ the beach again ;)  Can’t wait for Khloe’s newborn session!

crystal vogel - Love the sun flare!! Very nice!

Lizette Marroquin - Very amazing pictures of my sister and brother in law. Captured all the love and happiness they have for eachother and for Khloe.
