Happy New Year!!! I know my blog has been a bit slow lately, but now that I’ve enjoyed the holidays it’s time to start playing catch up and shoot, shoot, shooting!!
I’m starting with Emma and Alex’s wedding at the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church. It was really great being a part of their day. My favorite part of the day was the moments we had with them before the reception, you can see how much joy they share together…

Michelle and I packed up Harley and Jace and headed to Disneyland yesterday. Jace was full steam ahead from the moment we walked in the park. He had the best time and his favorite ride was Dumbo (we cut them off after 2 times!). He is super crazy sometimes, but as long as it’s happy crazy I can deal with it! 
We were more busy playing than taking photos, so here are a couple….

Every time we go he gets new ears…this time they were pumpkins ones! 
CA Adventure…
Sidnee is 8 months old now and she is dressing up as a lady bug for halloween. We met at the Irvine Regional Park to get some photos of her in her costume and it was so crowded! Everyone was ooohing and ahhhing over how cute she looked just sitting around grabbing hay, grass and pumpkins.
This week my friend Michelle and I loaded up the kids and headed to Pretend City in Irvine. Michelle heard about it through a friend, so we thought we would go check it out. I know it says it all in the name, but I was really surprised…it’s this little city where the kids can do just about everything they would if they were grown. The have props, outfits, etc. with someone is each room to clean up after the little monsters…constantly!! So Jace loooves…cars, trucks, grocery store, mailbox, bank (monies), fire station, gas station…all things he calls out when we drive by. If this place only had rhinos and dirtbikes in the sand area Jace would never leave! Here are some of the pics I got that day…

Some daddys’ might freak out…but he loves to help in the kitchen. Hope he keeps that up!

I usually don’t post a “sneak” of just a couple of pictures, but the whole point of taking pictures this evening is because today Jace turned 2 and 1/2 years old. Of course I’ll be doing a session at 3 years, but for some reason I felt the need to do one and this age too. Here are a couple for tonight, much, much more to come tomorrow…
Here are the rest. I can’t wait til his 3 year session, since he is my favorite subject! I love taking him out and letting him be a boy. I let him do his own thing with a bit of direction and I swear his listens so good he could be a model. I’m so happy with the photos I was able to get of him. These are just my absolute top favs. Seems that way, grab him, dress him and run out. If I would of planned for weeks something would of gone wrong for sure
I think we was doing a happy dance for the sucker….but it looks like he is posing!

Mom and dad were prepared for this session. They had grandma and grandpa on hand which was great because they have 5 month old twins and a 3 year old. They were a great help and it went so smoothly. The kids were wonderful, they went with the flow and were in great moods. After I came home and downloaded the tons of photos I shot {just to be safe} and started looking through them I came across some photos of the twins with their big blue eyes and my heart just went pitter pat. Such an adorable family.

Melissa asked me what they should wear for their session. I was hoping I hadn’t confused her by the time I was done rambling….she did it perfect. They looked great…coordinating but not “matchy-matchy”.
- You have a unique photography style that is beautiful! Thank you for the terrific photos of my granchildren and their mom and dad. There are so many photos that I want to purchase. I will continue to refer you to any one I know who wants family or event photography.

I love that the nights are cooling down sooner and summer is coming to an end. I’m ready to be able to take Jace to the park anytime of the day cause it’s not so hot!!
Last night we went to feel the “annulls” (animals) by our house and then to the park. I really need to shoot this little guy more. He is growing so fast. I don’t know why it is so hard for me to get good photos of him sometimes….maybe cause every time I get the camera out all I hear is cheese and see his cheesy smile.
He really took to the momma goats….at first he was just throwing the bread at the fence, then this…
