Kristen+Richard 2.28.09 | Orange County Wedding Photographer

Kristen and Richard were high school sweethearts.  Their day was filled with personal touches that made it all their own.  From SC socks and garters to chili dogs for Richard instead of salad it was never a dull moment!  I started the day out with the guys and I knew I would have an easy day ahead as soon as I saw Richard’s big smile.  I love it when couples are not shy to get the shots that they want.  The remainder of the day was spent dancing, laughing and kissing.  These two are so genuinely caring and sweet…I wish them the absolute best for their future together.

Gloria+Charles 11.30.08 | Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

Charles and Gloria were married at the Hyatt in Valencia.  I loved hearing the story of how they met 50 years ago, but their date was interrupted by Charles’ ex.  They went their seperate ways, found love and married.  Here they are now after enduring loss and finding love again with each other.  Such an inspiring story of how you can find love again.

We’re off…Yvonne & I left at 8:30, but they had the room til 1am.  They were just starting to party when we headed out.

Renee’+Matt 11.22.08 | Newport Beach Wedding Photographer

Renee’ and Matt were so ready, so excited to be married.  Renee’ beamed with excitement as she waited for their first look, their family photos before the ceremony and was so ready as they waited for their ceremony to begin.  They were married in Newport Beach at the Lido Marina Village aboard the Destiny.  I had a blast second shooting this wedding for “YC”.112208-3.jpg112208-4.jpg

I can’t tell you how much I love it when couples do a first look.  Matt got to tell his bride how beautiful she looks and share a moment (and some great lighting for photos) that is so special.

Alyssa+Jacob 10.19.08 | Orange County Wedding Photographer

Alyssa and Jacob…”it’s about time”, hey their words, not mine!  They finally tied the knot aboard the Royal Princess yacht in Newport Harbor along with their 2 children Bailey and Brody.  Alyssa said that her wedding day was all that she had hoped for and couldn’t have gone better.  I am so happy for these two, for anyone who thinks why bother we’ve been together x amount of years, she said she already feels different being Mrs. Mylles.

Nicole+James 10.12.08 | San Diego County Wedding Photographer

We headed out in cold, windy weather and were greeted by the most beautiful day at Los Willows in Fallbrook.  I had the best time at their wedding, such a fun group and everyone really let loose and had a good time. 

Yvonne and I were chatting on our way to our 3rd wedding in 3 weeks and we still have one more next weekend!  We were talking about how lucky we are to do what we love for such awesome people.  I so appreciate referrals.  We would have never crosses paths with these two without Michelle (Rodgers:)) & her mom sending them our way.

At the end of the night James thanked us and let us know that he is usually not very good in front of the camera.  I would have never known, could of been cause we were joking around the whole time!
