Shawna and Justin were married at the La Verne Country Club. I just photographed a wedding in June for Megan and Justin at the same location.  This time I got to see something new because Shawna and Justin were married on the lawn instead of the gazebo and I have to say it was beautiful.  These two have been together for a few years now and they are so in love, you could see it on their wedding day.  He couldn’t keep his hands off her

Shawna+Justin…thank you so much for having me be a part of your day.  I wish you nothing but happiness in the road ahead.  I had a great time at your wedding…especially hopping on the horse and carriage…a little scary, but totally worth it!!

Lexi+Phil were married almost 3 weeks ago.  I finish their images today (totally a record) and thought I would share a little more…

When a bride and groom book and engagement session with me I get to make personalized cards with information on how to access their  proofs when they are ready to put out at the wedding.  Here were Lexi+Phil’s

I took two photographers along on this wedding to help with the booth and second shooting.  Ended up with photos of me too…funny to see yourself at work

Not sure what’s up with the pic on the left…I know we were testing the booth, I think I was having Jenn get something while she was at the car…talk about multi-tasking.  I know the photo on the right was us waiting for the first photo booth victim and we knew Jenn was snapping pics

We have so much fun at weddings…despite the hard work cause it is so worth it!!!  Two more images from their wedding that I love…

The first Fun Booth is here!!  It was so much fun and is great for weddings or parties.  I’m usually smiling on the other side of the camera while shooting, but this took it to a whole new level!  Everyone picked up the concept quick, grab some props and rocked it!!  Can’t wait til the next one!!

Lexi & Phil were married at Christ King Church in Fallbrook.  The day was full of fun and surprises….from the Woody bus that escorted them around to the margarita and beer & wine bars at the reception to the toast being done with tequila shots (or apple juice if you prefer) to the photo booth done by yours truly. No tosses or even cake cutting (they had cupcakes you could cruise up and grab), once they got to the reception it was time to have fun!  Such a great day full of love and laughter.  I love it when I do an engagement session ahead of time to get to know the couple better, I get so excited for them on the big day.  You guys are an amazing couple! xoxoxo

Lexi looked beautiful…these photos were taken at her parents house on 16 acres of avacados…so pretty!Quick change into Lexi’s party dress before the wait at the church…Betcha these two look familiar!  It was so great seeing Angie+Keith there…thanks for sending them my way!!

Susie and Tony have been together for 5 years and they took the next step in completing their family.  The location and wedding were absolutely beautiful and I am so excited for these two.  Weddings can be a lot of work, but I really enjoy being a part of their day, seeing how the day comes together, how the party plays out and how wonderful the bride and groom look.  I just love seeing the style of the bride.  How they dreamed their day to be. 

I absolutely loved the feel of Megan and Justin’s wedding.  Very vintage and stylish.  I loved all the details, especially their wedding vows which included lines about loving each other for their own uniqueness, truly accepting each other for who they are, never trying to change the other.  Megan was an amazing bride.  I was told she was very shy, even heading down the hall to a locker room with mom to change privately, but by the end of the night I got to see tons of her personality especially when she started “C-walking”….my kinda girl!!

Jenika & Daniel were married at Jenika’s parents home in Santa Rosa.  The day was full of love, faith, certainty and confidence.  The love they have for each other and from their wonderful families, their faith in God,  their certainty in marriage and mostly the confidence that they have in each other.  As I listened to speeches of how Daniel will be a good father and how they will spend their lives together I watched Jenika as she looked at Daniel and said “yes”.  I have to admit I left their wedding feeling much joy for their journey ahead and a little bit of jealousy of having that moment when you are so confident in what you are doing and the choices you make.  Through life’s up and downs that can be hard to have that and I am so glad that they are starting their lives together with such a good foundation.

Jenika+Daniel…I want to thank you so much for having me be a part of your day.  Special thanks to your wonderful parents who made us feel so welcome and at home.  Jenika, thank you for being such an awesome bride…I couldn’t believe it when you wanted to hop on your dirt bike, I knew then we would be able to take you down the hill to that open field!!  Congrats guys!!
