Happy New Year!!! I know my blog has been a bit slow lately, but now that I’ve enjoyed the holidays it’s time to start playing catch up and shoot, shoot, shooting!!
I’m starting with Emma and Alex’s wedding at the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church. It was really great being a part of their day. My favorite part of the day was the moments we had with them before the reception, you can see how much joy they share together…

Chelsy and Daniel had their ceremony at the Mission Rose Garden. It was a sunny, cool day and amazingly beautiful. It was great to have spent some time with the couple the day before at the rehearsal. I got to see how much these two truly adore each other. When Daniel was jokingly asked if he was ready, he replied “of course, she is beautiful, just look at her”. You could see it in the way Chelsy would not only hold his hand, but also clutch his forearm. I love, love 
Their reception was at the Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center which is right on the beach. So when we still had time to spare when we rolled up in the limo bus we headed to the beach for a few more photos. This is the most time I think we’ve had with any couple and it really paid off.
Chelsy was a crazy/fun bride and she was all over the dance floor having the best time…can you guess what song is on?

Yvonne and I got back yesterday from Chelsy and Daniel’s amazing wedding in Santa Barbara. We had two days of work and managed to fit in a bit of sight seeing as well. It is so beautiful up there, I joked with Yvonne the whole weekend that I was going to make a move! Every street, every corner was full of awesome spots for sessions. I would never have a shortage of locations! Of course I can’t leave my wonderfully dry, dull stomping grounds, but a girl can dream and travel!! We started out with their rehearsal Friday night at their ceremony site.

Katie and Kenny were married Saturday at Sycamore Highland Park and had their reception at the March Air Force Base. This was a fun one for me since Kenny is one of my oldest friends cousin and there were no shortage of familiar faces. This was actually a renewal for them since they were previously married, but now they had time to have a ceremony/reception.

Aimee and Rob were married at the Embassy Sweets in Brea. Sometimes we can have 3+ locations for getting ready (guys/girls), ceremony, reception, but there wedding was one stop. They got ready, had the ceremony/reception and formals all in one location. I second shot this wedding for Yvonne and she had done an engagement session for them. She got to know them a lot better than me, but I wish these high school sweethearts the best of luck beginning their new journey together.

Angie and Keith were married at Vessels Ranch in Bonsall. Angie was a calm, confident, beautiful bride. They have an awesome connection, which was even more apparent during their ceremony. They were surrounded by loved ones including a huge wedding party with Grandpa as Best Man. It was a gorgeous day with a wonderful, loving couple.

I’m almost embarassed about how many photos I took of the cake top….it was so pretty!
Janice and Tim were married at Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Orange. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day full of fun with her dad stepping in as the DJ and their minister was a complete riot. We were constantly getting in trouble for stepping anywhere beyond the sidewalks to get photos. I guess there are bulbs planted everywhere….so that made it a bit of a challenge. Tim was ready to take charge and we just hurried them in and out a few times while no one was looking
This was the first shot I got in trouble for. Right after I stepped out of the grove I was notified we are not to be in there. Luckily he waited patiently while I shot away!!
While Yvonne took some photos of Janice by herself I took the opportunity to get Tim by himself. He says he doens’t like pics of himself….but after he saw these he was working the camera!
We never get photos of us together….luckily there were some boys who wanted to try out my camera
