Carlos & Mariel have an addition of a baby boy to their family. Arath Samuel Avalos is 2 weeks old. It was such a pleasure meeting this family and spending some time with them. I can’t wait to see him when he gets a bit older, look at all that hair! Thank you so much to Alannah’s family for sending them my way!
This is the only image that I got with his eyes open. He slept the whole time. Mom was so happy she kept saying “he’s never like this” – I guess he liked his photo session!
When I arrived at David and Candy’s house Carter was fast asleep, the smell of pizza was in the air and David was on the computer looking at listings for their meeting with their real estate agent later on that day. They have a beautiful home, but they are ready some something closer to work. Carter is now two months old my arrival doesn’t bother him in the least bit. He woke for a quick diaper change and then once we put him in some comfy furry stuff he was off to sleep again. He was such a good baby.

My favorite!
I last saw them at our friends New Years party while Candy was pregnant. We talked for a while all about baby stuff and she said she was clueless about babies, not so different of how I felt when I was pregnant with Jace. It was so great to see her as a new mommy doing such a great job with her precious baby boy. It was all laughs and love (especially when Carter soaked mom!)

One with the whole family!
I spent the earlier part of today with Alannah and her parents for her 3 month old photo session. They wanted some pictures with their little girl, but of course we got much more of just her! Last time I saw her she was only 10 days old and she has grown so much. All the little grunts while drinking her bottle, pacie and finger sucking, trying to eat mom and dad’s fingers and little coos took me back to when Jace was little. I didn’t realize how much I missed it! Well except constantly having to have a bib and spit cloth handy!
Josh & Mandy….It was great seeing you today. I am really going to enjoy being able to capture her at all her different stages and milestones. You guys are doing such a great job with her. I love seeing how wonderful Josh is with her, it reminds me to appreciate how great my hubby is with our little one.

Alannah is sooooo freakin adorable and your right Josh is wonderful with her….just as YOU are wonderful with the camera. I swear you keep amazing me with your talent and how you think outside of the box and get such wonderful angles!! Can’t wait to see the rest of the sessions for the year!! 
I love blogging photos of close friends! Saturday was Bailey’s 7th Birthday party. Alyssa wanted me to photograph it for her so she could run the party madness and actually have photos when the day was over. Such a fun party for the kids with a huge water jumper, lots of games and goodies. Kept mom and dad plenty busy

Today was a great day. Jaci and Tosh are visiting from Seattle and they came to spend the day with us. We didn’t get to spend as much time together as we wanted because both of the boys were not feeling too well at the beginning of the week.
Since Tosh is turing 2 in June we did some photos here around the house while Jace was napping. Seeing what a big boy he is now and how much he has grown also reminds me of how much I have done with photography in the past 2 years. Tosh was my very first photo session so I wanted to say a special thank you with this session.
I love you guys very much and I am so sad to say goodbye to you as you head home tomorrow. Jaci and I must not be very into drama since we both held in our tears until she was almost to her car. When it comes to our goodbyes we keep em short.
