service before self | Murrieta Family Photographer

Meet Edwina.  She is on a leave from a one year deployment in Iraq for two weeks and she wanted to do a family session including her sister and nephews.  He husband is also in service but he is close to home at this time.  To be so dedicated to serving your country to spend so much time away from your family is something I truly admire.  Luckily in her case her little ones aren’t so little anymore;)

I had so much fun with all of them.  It’s great when you get to the part of the session when I tell them to “talk amongst yourselves for a bit” and you get instant genuine smiles.  And a big thanks to the boys for protecting me from some wild insects and dealing with the mad case of allergies I had that day!

little almonds | Inland Empire Photographer

3 boys…. 2.5, 1 and 7 days old.  Mom and Dad have their hands full but they are doing so great at it.  The last session we did was the extended family and Jennifer was expecting at the time so we set up a session to do newborn and Jackson’s 1 year.

We shot there for about 20 minutes until we politely got kicked out.  He told us they a have been there for 70 years but the county is taking over.  They used to send almonds to See’s Candies in Los Angeles. la-14chaseJackson is 1 now!!:)la-15la-16la-17la-18

a perfectly framed sunday | Murrieta Family Photographer

Cathy wanted a session with all her kids & grand kids together.  It was a beautiful day…a bit chilly, but I’ll take it over any drizzle and rain! This group was great…so photogenic! I always try to get the must have shots done quick before little ones get grumpy, but they did so good we finish the session in less than an hour, I could of shot them all day!! :)

Angela & Nathan’s mini-session | Temecula Family Photographer

Mom wanted some pics with her son Nathan who is turning 6 in January.  From what she said…it’s been too long.  Wow it’s crazy the stages kids go through.  He did not want kisses or cuddles from mom, she said it just started a week or so prior cause now he has a girl he likes at school.  I told him you love momma first and you’re allowed to like girls and still love mom;)I’m gonna enjoy my hugs and kisses from my little one while I can!  I give him a kiss and he says “thank you for the kisses momma”…I’m sure Nathan will be back on the cuddle track with mom soon!!:)
