Some favs from Alannah’s family session including her cousins. We were all laughing at how easy we thought it would be and it was almost impossible to get these three to sit together and look in one direction…..these girls kept me on my toes!! Gotta love it, I always look forard to her sessions, she is such a cutie!!
I just got back from a Vegas trip with these 3 on Sunday (ok the kids only rode with us to their grandparents) and today was Kayden’s 8 month session. I love this age, although it’s impossible to get him to stay in one spot…it’s almost as if he’s saying “can’t slow me down woman”! He wants to go, go, go and it’s so very cute. We know his favorite part of the session was when he got to strip off his clothes at the end cause after all he is a boy

The last time I did a session for Christine, Megan was a two months old. She was talking about wanting just one more to try for another son. Well they went for it and now she is pregnant with their 6th child and…..it’s a BOY!! Jon and Kate have nothing on them. They had 2 pregnancies for 8 kids….Miguel and Christine are going on 6…all one by one!
Here’s what Christine says about her family on their Great Big Family Blog: Happily married and raising 5 1/2 children together. Four girls and one boy. To answer the famous question, “Are you done yet,” well… it depends on who you ask. Over here, our cup has runneth over with babies. Babies, babies, lots of babies. Nope, we’re not Mormon, just 2 imperfect out of control high school sweethearts. We’re a hard workin, camping lovin’, house huntin’, photo takin’, God seeking, ‘oh and child rearn’ kind of couple.
Jessica & Nico celebrated their birthday’s at the beach again this year, but this time they were joined by tons of their family some all the way from Japan! While they were all here we took a few family photos of each family along with a couple of big group shots. It was great seeing this family again and I wish them luck in the start of a their new journey of relocating back to San Diego.

It was tough work bringing my white backdrop to the beach….I joke, I joke. It was crazy bright out and this photo was taken around 4.
We have been trying to set up this session for weeks now, but Brody has been a little too active and has been bumping his noggin! So we finally made it happen. He just turned one and he has been walking for a couple of months, so he is all over the place
It was great seeing Brody and his mom again and getting to meet dad….especially since grandma, Ethan and Laycee showed up…you’ll remember these three from this post.
Sarah contacted me about a session while all her family was going to be together “9 adults and 5 children”. So I headed to La Cresta, but this time instead of hiking through brush I got to visit this family at their beautiful home. I really love this area and I love it when families are able to have a session in the comfort of their own home.
I thought this one was cute…the little guy on the left is the same age as my Jace and he was not down for having his picture taken, he’s about to make his get-a-way! 
Yvonne and I have been talking about taking some pictures of just her and her daughter for a while now. We are always stuck behind the camera and we don’t end up getting the photos we want of our own families. It’s great to have a freind to do your photos, but we still have to take time to get it done!!
We had fun even though we got stuck with stickers and I’ll have to admit I was a just a little bit scared of being bitten by a snake! I’ll have to get over that because I love these type of locations, I just don’t know enough about how to be “safe”.
