Trying to catch up on importing photos, organizing and getting used to the set up on my new iMac.  I came across some photos of Jace playing tent from June.  I really wanted to capture some photos of him being in the natural lighting that was in the room.  I bumped my Canon 5D Mark II to 6400 iso (I can’t even imagine what I would get on my 40D which only goes to 1600) and shot away.  Here is my favorite image from that night.  The first photo is the original with no adjustments but slight color correction.  The second I turned black and white.  There is some noise, but it doesn’t bother me at all…just happy to be able to capture him at day or night with no flash!

Jenika and Daniel are getting married this May.  We met at the Mission Inn in Riverside to do their engagement session.   They enjoyed walking the streets taking in all the scenery.  Besides visiting the museum they had never come to the area just to explore.  They gave me a fresh new take on downtown Riverside.  May will be here before you know it…I can’t wait until it’s time to post images from their wedding!

I love…love, relationships.  Watching the way two people interact and how they sometimes know the other person better than they know themselves.  Knowing that someone loves you more than anything on this earth and they will be there for you through thick and thin.  Having someone…know you.

Lexi and Phil are the cutest, most down to earth couple and I look forward to their wedding this July.  If they look this good in casual clothes I can’t wait to see them in their wedding attire!!

Yvonne and I got back yesterday from Chelsy and Daniel’s amazing wedding in Santa Barbara.  We had two days of work and managed to fit in a bit of sight seeing as well.  It is so beautiful up there, I joked with Yvonne the whole weekend that I was going to make a move!  Every street, every corner was full of awesome spots for sessions.  I would never have a shortage of locations!  Of course I can’t leave my wonderfully dry, dull stomping grounds, but a girl can dream and travel!!  We started out with their rehearsal Friday night at their ceremony site.

Meet Lauren and Adam.  They are friends of ours are part of our “Glamis Family”.  After 7 years of dating, these two will be cruising down the isle in San Pedro on 8.9.09 aboard the Royal Caribbean.  They are young lovebirds and I am so happy for them to be taking the next step in their relationship.  Lauren snaps our family pics for us while we are out there and they really wanted to do their engagement session in the sand.  I’ll be posting soon with the photos she got for us.

My favs

These two are getting married this coming Saturday!  The location they wanted was available, so they went for it.  No year long planning for these two, they are ready to start their life together!  Ralph is Bobby’s cousin and I can’t believe how quick he has gone from a teenager to an adult who is tying the knot!  I couldn’t be happier for these two, they have know each other since they were kids and I know they will have a wonderful life together.

Jim & Michelle are getting married this October!  Yvonne and I both went along for their engagement session at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim and of course we are going to photograph their wedding.  Yvonne, Michelle and I all used to work together not too long ago, such a bummer not to see them every day
